Official website of Indian passport: http://passportindia.gov.in/ Open above link : http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/welcomeLink Register here for the first time and after that you have to login with your credentials. After successful login click apply for fresh passport. Always try to go with online process rather than offline. So I will recommend you to go with Alternative 1 which is a process of filling online form. You can fill the application form online (internet connection is required to fill the form online).
